Formed to develop and promote facial trauma & facial plastic surgery as a recognised sub-speciality among ENT surgeons in India.
Face Academy has been formed with the intention of developing and promoting this sub-speciality amongst ENT surgeons with similar professional interests in India.
Facial plastic and reconstructive surgery is a relatively new speciality in the Indian subcontinent, with contributions by plastic surgeons, otolaryngologists, ophthalmologists, maxillofacial surgeons and dermatologists in an orchestrated fashion.
FACE Academy has been established after successful ventures conducting hands-on workshops and conferences over the past five years. The main aim is to provide a structured training programme in Facial Trauma & Facial Plastic Surgery, under the aegis of the Indian Academy of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery. Feedback so far has been encouraging, to say the least.
ENT surgeons interested in facial trauma and aesthetic surgery of the face are invited to participate in these unique courses, which comprehensively build a foundation for further clinical expertise in the definitive management of facial trauma and related dysfunctions.
The courses are designed around the daily needs of an ENT surgeon with a special interest in facial trauma & facial aesthetics — with more weight on practical, hands-on experience alongside applied theory.
